Brilliant CUP shines in Shanghai, A&M invites World Champion Kanaeva to join Belarusian Gymnastics Association in the event

The 8th Brilliant CUP Artistic Gymnastics Club Invitational Championships 2024 came to a successful conclusion. This exciting event was held from 22nd to 30th July at Shanghai Jiuzhi Sports Complex, Qizhong Tennis Centre, over a period of 9 days, combining a unique week of Artistic Gymnastics competitions and masterclass training. The event was organised by Shanghai Baiyu Sports Development Co and co-organised by Shanghai YiTi Sports Development Co and Art & Motion Sports Culture Communication Co. A&M contributed to the success of the event as a co-organiser.

The Brilliant CUP Artistic Gymnastics Club Challenge held from 22 to 23 July attracted 150 athletes from more than 20 clubs across the country to participate in the event, demonstrating their love and persistence for artistic gymnastics. Subsequently, the Brilliant CUP Artistic Gymnastics Club Invitational Tournament was officially kicked off from 24th to 28th July, and more than 400 athletes from 46 clubs from all over the world gathered in Shanghai to compete at a high level in the Brilliant CUP Artistic Gymnastics Club Invitational Tournament, which provided a visual feast for the audience.

We also invited two-time Olympic champion Ms Kanaeva as a special guest to not only present the award for the event, but also to hold a two-day master class intensive training camp (29-30 July) for Chinese artistic gymnastics young athletes, to impart her valuable experience in the field of artistic gymnastics, and to inject new vitality into the development of artistic gymnastics in China.

In addition, the event also specially invited Mr Federov Andrei, the director and operation director from Belarusian Gymnastics Association, to communicate with the participating clubs. During the tournament, both sides conducted online and offline linkage to introduce Belarusian Artistic Gymnastics and discuss future cooperation in competition, training and exchange, aiming to jointly promote the rapid development of artistic gymnastics programme.

A&M has always been committed to promoting the development of artistic gymnastics in China, and the co-organisation of the Brilliant CUP is a manifestation of this philosophy. We believe that through such an event, more young people will be inspired to devote themselves to artistic gymnastics and inject new impetus into the future development of artistic gymnastics in China.

We would like to thank all the athletes, coaches, judges, staff and volunteers who participated in this event, and look forward to meeting again next year to witness more exciting moments of artistic gymnastics!
